Fröhling Ingenieurbüro GmbH is an owner-managed engineering firm based in Harsefeld, near Hamburg. Since our founding in 1973, we have been designing structures and providing health and safety coordination (SiGeKo) for clients, project developers, architects, and industrial companies – in Germany and worldwide.
What sets us apart is the combination of decades of engineering experience and the curiosity of a dedicated team: we approach structural design from an economic, digital, and sustainable perspective – delivering results that clients, planners, and inspection bodies worldwide can rely on.

Relocation to the current headquarters at Schulstraße 22, Harsefeld
1993
Manfred Rathjen joins as an additional partner, change of company name to Fröhling & Partner
1994
Change of company name to Ingenieurbüro Fröhling & Rathjen GbR mbH
1996
Founder Hans-Peter Fröhling steps down from management but remains with the firm as an external consultant

Christian Fröhling and Thorben Rathjen join the management team

40th anniversary

Manfred Rathjen steps down from management – renamed to Fröhling & Rathjen GmbH & Co. KG

Restructuring as Fröhling Ingenieurbüro GmbH – Christian Fröhling as Managing Director, focusing on wind energy, structural engineering, civil engineering, and SiGeKo; Nils Glaesener appointed as authorized signatory
